CHEM-ONE Gasket
Description
Engineered from the trusted ALKY-ONE® platform, the Chem-One gasket is designed to withstand the toughest chemical processing conditions. It combines a stainless steel 304 or 316 Kamprofile core with 100% expanded PTFE facings to ensure superior primary sealing integrity. A full-coverage expanded PTFE Barrier Pillow safeguards the entire gasket surface from ID to OD. For specialized applications, alternative alloy constructions can be provided upon request.
Application
Engineered for the most aggressive chemical environments, the Chem-One gasket delivers superior sealing performance to ensure reliable, safe operation. Standard core materials include stainless steel 304 or 316, with alternate alloys available for specialized applications. Designed for service temperatures up to 550°F.
Sealing Characteristics
The integrated Barrier Pillow, made from 100% expanded PTFE, effectively blocks acid intrusion and pooling on flange faces, helping to prevent flange erosion and reduce the need for costly replacements.

Available Options
Standard core materials include stainless steel 304 or stainless steel 316, with a carbon steel outer ring. Alternative alloys are available upon request. The Chem-One gasket is compatible with ASME B16.5 and ASME B16.47 flanges.
