Torque Values
Torque values are specific to each and every application.
Because of that, no one chart can give all the answers.
The chart on this page gives the optimal torque value for spiral wound gaskets for both carbon steel and stainless steel flanges, as determined by Chevron. To ensure accuracy:
• All studs must be lubricated ( see Jet Lube 550 )
• Use torque or tension equipment as noted.
